By using https://guildgauge.com ("GuildGauge", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What we are
GuildGauge is a directory and quote-request service that lets you compare local tradespeople and request quotes. We are not an employer, agent, or contractor of any business listed on the site, and we don't perform any of the trade work ourselves.
No guarantee of business quality
We don't guarantee the quality, pricing, licensing, or availability of any listed business. Ratings and review counts are sourced from Google and reflect Google's data, not our own vetting. Always check a business's credentials, insurance, and references yourself before hiring.
Listings and accuracy score
The accuracy score shown next to each listing is generated automatically from public data (reviews, registration status, and profile completeness) and is indicative only — it isn't a certification, endorsement, or guarantee of a business's quality or reliability.
Your obligations
When submitting a quote request or registering an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to use the site lawfully — including not submitting spam, false job requests, or abusive content. You must be at least 18 years old to register an account or submit a quote request.
Business obligations
If you claim a business listing, you confirm you're authorised to represent that business, agree to keep your listing information accurate, and agree to use quote-request leads only to respond to the customer who submitted them.
Intellectual property
The GuildGauge name, logo, and site design are our property. Business listing data displayed on the site originates from Google Places and is subject to Google's own terms.
Limitation of liability
We provide the site "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from your use of a business found through the site, or from inaccuracies in listing data sourced from third parties. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
Termination
We may suspend or remove an account or listing that breaches these terms, at our discretion.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
